Welcome To The TollBrothersGowanus.com

Toll Brothers looks forward to participating in the revitalization of the Gowanus neighborhood in Brooklyn by redeveloping two formerly industrial blocks along the west waterfront of the Gowanus Canal into a mixed-use, primarily residential development.

The development will include a mixture of townhouses and low- and mid-rise apartment buildings which are designed to be contextual with the surrounding neighborhood, as well as consistent with the Department of City Planning’s framework for the area.

The project will include approximately 460 residential units – 30% of which will be affordable housing – as well as a community facility, neighborhood-oriented retail, and accessory parking space. In addition, the development will create publicly-accessible open space along the entire project waterfront in the form of a landscaped esplanade with benches and other public amenities.

The project has been certified by the Department of City Planning and is currently going through the City’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP). Through this process, there are many opportunities for members of the public to comment on the project plans. Please continue to check this website throughout the review period for project information and updates.

Prior to the start of the ULURP process, an Environmental Impact Statement must be completed. To view a copy of the Draft Scope of Work for the Environmental Impact Statement, please click here.
